commercially produced biodiesel you just have to buy it and use it like regular diesel,as for the home brew from restaurants our test engine oil analysis came back with elevated sodium levels from the salt in the food that the grease came from.Detroit diesel and Mercedes no longer reccomend the home brew diesel.
As stated, you can just start running the biodiesel in your engine. However, expect to go through a BUNCH of fuel filters, quickly. The bio will clear out a tremendous amount of "gunk" left behind by the old regular diesel, which will clog your filter quickly.
