Algae renews in a shorter time frame, uses less resources to produce, and can be used to reduce Co2 emissions from manufacturing or energy production.
In addition to a quicker turnover, while palm oil trees are grown on land, algae is grown in tanks that can be placed on not otherwise arable land.
