Which do you feel is better for the air quality – biodiesel or hybrids?

An ideal solution would be a bio diesel hybrid, wouldn’t it. 2010 Chevy Volt will make that a possibility or so I’ve heard.
I’m pretty sure that in terms of air quality and particulate pollution, bio diesel is better than burning the gasoline required for hybrids, even though overall fuel efficiency may or may not be better.
i will rather choose hybrids because most biodiesels are net carbon emitters at all. but it turns out biodiesel is more efficient than hybrids
Hybrids are better for air quality. Their emissions are lower overall.
