I own a 2006 Jetta TDI and want to upgrade to a bigger passenger diesel and want the BMW X5 bluetec diesel when it comes out. I only want it if I can run biodiesel B20 or B99 in it without harming the vehicle. I’m not interested in the manufacturer’s lame, conservative position and warranty statements. I want to know if it will actually cause probelms with the bluetec technology. Thank you in advance.

I would like to manufacture bio-diesel fuel for my farm equipment. I will be using used cooking oil. Can anyone tell me what I need to do it with and maybe how to set up the process?

i was looking at the jetta 2.5, jetta gls, and a jetta glx. do any of these have an biodiesel engine? the reason im asking is cuz i want to be able to fill the tank up using veggie oil, i want the car to run on veggie oil for the environment.

what would happen if i add more methanol or use less methanol?
