My job is pretty unreliable so i cant really afford to fill my car with Diesel.
Can anyone answer any of my questions to do with this topic
Is biodiesel or vegetable oil a cheaper alternative?
Can i run my car legally on any of these, do i have to inform anyone?
Are there any damaging effects on my Car?
Is it cheaper than regular Diesel?
And where can i buy diesel/veggie oil?
Thanks if anyone can help

We made Biodiesel from vegetable oil and I wanna know how to easily test it at home to know how much carbon it is emitting and how much carbon is reduced via percentage.
p.s and i don’t want to use a car or an engine

i have been doing some research on it and i’m considering buying an older mercedes. from what i understand the only conversion it really requires is new fuel lines but my main concern is how realistic it is for me to make it in my garage with used vegetable oil from a restaurant.
what is the main difference between biodiesel and wvo? i’m confused.

Hi everybody,
This is just about my biodiesel experiment for school. When i let the glycerol in the vegetable oil biodiesel (mixed with new vegetable oil, and sodium methoxide) settle for about 3 days, the stuff thats settled at the bottom is white, which i shall assume as glycerol. But i noticed in other online experiments, they are a dark amber, so did I do anything wrong??? And also i tried mixing peanut oil with sodium methoxide, and there is something cloudy in the peanut oil, which just can’t be filtered out. What did I do wrong? (I used a magnetix mixer/heater for everything.)

I have a 1998 Mercury Sable, and I would like to know if I can run it on vegetable oil instead of gas. Any suggestions?

I watched a video on making your own biofuel and I’ve seen video’s in the past about turning your car into a dual fuel car that runs off of diesel and then can be switch to run off of vegetable oil while running. Which is the better route to go?

Where could I get the vegetable oil, I know you can get it from fast food places and that they get rid of it some it but its pretty hard to come by. Where can you just buy the stuff, how much would that cost and would it be worth it to convert a car and are greasecars dependable? ARE THEIR ANY PLACES TO BUY BIODIESEL IN UTAH?
